Dirty Spokes Productions,LLC has signed on with XTERRA again for 2009! We will be hosting 7 trail races this year (starting in October 2008)! Just what you trail enthusiasts have been waiting for! Each race has something different to offer and as a matter of fact, you will come to know why we follow the creed 'Ditch the City'. Cross Racing in Charlotte, NC

Charlotte Development Cyclo-Cross Series presented by Trek Bikes of Charlotte In effort to generate more interest in cyclo-cross racing, Charlotte Sports Cycling has teamed up with the new Trek Bikes of Charlotte to host a Tuesday night cyclo-cross series which kicked off last Tuesday night at North Meck Park in Huntersville. The first event went great as we had over 40 people race the twisting course at N Meck Park. The course and set up of the event received rave reviews from the race participants. The plan is to once again open the course at 5pm for riding and training with cyclo-cross guru Bob Pugh. The first set of races will start at 6:15pm and last for 30 minutes. The second set of races will start at 7pm and last for 45 minutes. The remaining dates for the event are Tuesdays, Nov 18 and 25 and Dec 2. Gnarly Dog Tyler Time Trail

Gnarly Dog Tyler Time Trail Time Trials sign up starts at 1:30 PM, first rider starts at 2:30 PM. Events are cancelled if the trails are closed. Pisgah Productions is proud to announce the second annual 'The Most Horrible Thing Ever' 07 - 08 February, 2009 Starting at Midnight Friday night Feb 6th and racing until Noon Sunday (36 hours) Teams of two riders will race to reach up to 36 checkpoints. There will be six separate stages each with their own mandatory checkpoints and unique format. There will be time trials, specific routes, and PMBAR & Double Dare style 'choose your own adventure' stages all centered around White Pines group campground. There is no entry fee. There will be no prizes. This race will be about glory and suffering, pain and endurance, fun and..... no fun at all. Swank 65 Mountain Bike Journey The 10th Annual Swank 65 will be on Sunday, November 9th 2008. Course Description: The Swank 65 Mountain Bike Journey is mountain bike racing at it’s most primeval, far removed from civilization and polluted air. The race begins at 2500 feet, and consists of a triad of cloverleaf shaped loops winding around Gloucester Gap in Pisgah National Forest.  Rolling over rugged mining roads, fun single track, tough climbs and hell-raising descents, the exhilarating course will test your skills and desire as you explore the devilish terrain of the Pisgah National Forest. 42 miles (65K) in length.
